Funeral Services for Hillary Dean Smith of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mr. Smith, 64, died Jan. 25, 2015, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Sept. 23, 1950, in Brookhaven to Jaudon Smith and Cathryn Floyd Smith.

Mr. Smith was retired from offshore drilling as well as maintenance with Mississippi Department of Transportation. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the U.S. Army Reserves.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, Billy Joe Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Belinda Joy Russell Smith of Brookhaven; one daughter, Misty Britt and husband, Hillry, of Wesson; one son, Michael Dean Smith and wife, Wendy, of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Chase Britt and Caylie Britt; three sisters, Mary Alice Williams, Beatrice Lambert and Agnes Allgood; one brother, Jimmy Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
