Funeral Services for Deborah D. “Debbie” Dougherty of Pricedale are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale with burial in Body-McEwen Cemetery. The Rev. Ron West and Dr. David Millican will officiate. Catchings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church and will continue Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Dougherty, 60, died Jan. 29, 2015, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born on Nov. 3, 1954, in Tylertown to Bobby Earl and Dorothy Boyd Pennington of Pricedale.

She was a business manager and floral designer. Her family said Christmas was her favorite time of the year and enjoyed decorating to the fullest. She was very creative in everything she did and loved writing poetry. She dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed their time together during their visits. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents and step-grandparents, Robert and Genie Pennington and Buel and Marie Brister; her maternal grandparents and step-grandparents, Helen McGraw and Elmer and Murble Boyd; and an uncle.

Survivors are her parents; her husband, Sean Dougherty of Pricedale; two daughters, Michelle Erhardt and Christine Heptinstall of Pricedale; one sister, Rhonda Viola and husband, John, of Zachary, Louisiana; mother-in-law, Mary Dougherty of Louisberg, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Jennifer Hons of Danville, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Shane Houston, Caley Loewenstein, Holden Heptinstall, Layton Heptinstall and Cason Heptinstall; nephews and nieces, Brandi Gallaway of Denham Springs, Denny Gallaway of Baker, Louisiana, Tammi Hollis of Hammond, Natalie, Angelina and Colby Young of Hammond; her special fur baby, Pistachio; numerous aunts, uncles and numerous special friends including Billie Jo, Joann, Shirley, Beverly and others.
