Funeral Services for Jeffery Scott Pettigrew of Monticello are 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Monticello Baptist Church with burial in Beth Shan Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Monticello Baptist Church and will resume prior to service from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Mr. Pettigrew, 52, died Feb. 11, 2015, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 29, 1962, to Alvin Dee Pettigrew and SuzAnne Rich Williamson.
Mr. Pettigrew was a member of Topeka Baptist Church and was a 911 dispatch supervisor for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. He has been trained in 1001 Basics, 1002 Engineer, Hazmat Technician, EMT Basic, Monticello Fire Dept. Safety and was a member of Lawrence County Fire and EMS Assoc. He had 500 hours of Mississippi Fire Academy Training.
Preceding him in death were his father, Alvin Dee Pettigrew; and grandparents, SE and Lois Rich, Roy Lee Pettigrew and Mattie Sue Pettigrew Bruce.
Survivors are his wife, Keli Pettigrew; his son, Taylor Williams; daughter, Sheridan Williams; mother and stepfather, SuzAnne and John Williamson; and his aunts and other family members.
