NATHANIEL WEATHERSBY Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) seniors from Brookhaven High School and Franklin County High School were recognized during the JROTC Military Ball held Saturday night at the Brookhaven Recreation Department. The BHS senior class (pictured above) was introduced by LTC (RET) Brenda Pullen and the FCHS senior class was introduced by COL (RET) Craig Weaver. The event featured guest speaker Staff Sergeant Rachel Brooks from the McComb Recruiting Center. SSG Brooks serves as an Active Duty Army and Army Reserve Recruiter for Amite, Lawrence, Lincoln, Pike and Walthall County. Prior to her current assignment SSG Brooks served as an Army Broadcast Journalist. SSG Brooks spoke about facing challenges and making positive choices.
