Funeral Services for Margaret Getwan Barrett of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in Rosehill Catholic Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Barrett, 95, died March 10, 2015, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. She was born on April 15, 1919, to Fred Getwan and Katherine Keller Getwan.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She loved God, her family and her community.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Daniel F. Barrett; brothers, Fred Getwan and Nicholas Getwan; and sister, Catherine Sheber.

Survivors are her sons, Pat Barrett and wife, Cheryl and Fred Barrett; sister, Mary Ratliff; four grandchildren, Patrick Barrett and wife, Kellie, Erin Womack and husband, Craig, James Barrett and wife, Misty and Sarah Barrett; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
