The funeral service for Solon Bob Wallace of Brookhaven will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. 

There will be a visitation on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 12 until 1:30 p.m. before the service.

Mr. Wallace, 73, died April 3, 2015 at Natchez Community Hospital in Natchez. He was born in Lincoln County on June 16, 1941 to John Oliver and Veda Grace Brown Wallace. He was a resident in Glenburney Nursing Home in Natchez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold Wallace, Hulon Wallace and George Wallace; three sisters, Alyne Williamson, Grace Thames and Ruby Jordan.

He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Lambert of Jayess; adopted brother, Danny Thompson; nephews, Larry Wallace, Danny Thompson, Kenny Wallace, Randall Lambert and Mark Lambert; nieces, Cathy Lambert Nation, JoAnn Domico, Elizabeth Harry and Stacy Marie Wallace.
