For Gabe Wilson and Scottie Peavey Friday night contest was a highlight game for the two former Ole Brook standouts.

Wilson a senior infielder at Belhaven University ripped a double and a home run in a 4-3 win over Martin Methodist University in Martin, Tennessee.

For the season, Wilson is batting .332. He’s started games at third base, second base, shortstop, and in the outfield this season.

Peavey, a senior right fielder for the Alcorn Stare Braves had two singles, a double, and a home run against Jackson State in the nightcap of doubleheader.

Through the season Peavey is batting .321 for the Braves, while batting in the leadoff spot in the lineup.

The two former Ole Brook teammates are enjoying their senior seasons on the diamond with only a few games remaining before their respected conference tournaments in May.
