WESSON – The Wesson Cobras were victorious in Saturday afternoon baseball action against Terry after Tyler McLeod smashed a walk-off three-run home run to beat the Bulldogs 14-3 in five innings of action.

“We struggled a little bit on the mound, but we were able to make pitches when we had to, and we played good defense,” Wesson Coach Seth Lofton said. “We got some clutch hits today from several different guys, which is always good. I am very proud of our team. Ee beat a good baseball team today.”

The Cobras (9-4, 5-1) are scheduled to return to action Tuesday as they prepare to host the Hazlehurst Indians for a huge Region 7-3A test. The varsity game is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
