The Mississippi Spring Fest and Fair kicked off with Youth Night Wednesday and will offer rides, games and food throughout the event. Local and state officials will speak during Political Night on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and the rodeo begins on Friday. The tri-state rodeo starts at 7 p.m. with the Jeff Bates concert following at 9 p.m. A stacked Saturday schedule will feature “Day at the Farm” starting at 1 p.m., which will offer many farm-related activities for children alongside the Mid-South Fair Talent Contest and also Beauty Pageant. The rodeo continues Saturday night at 7 p.m. followed by a Jeff Bates concert. The festival wraps up Sunday with the car and motorcycle show. For more information visit lincolnciviccenter.com.
