Funeral services for Malcolm Walker are 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2015, at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Zion Hill Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015, at the funeral home.

Mr. Walker, 52, of Wesson, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at St. Dominic Hospital.

Mr. Walker was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. He worked 17 years at Blain Sand and Gravel before going to work with Oddee Smith Construction Company. He liked to work in the yard and enjoyed mechanical and electrical work. He was an all-around self-doer.

Survivors are his sons, Jonathan Walker of Hinds County and Mathew Walker of Copiah County; daughters, Jennifer Andrews, Melissa Andrews, Kim Andrews and Samantha Walker, all of Wesson; mother, Wanda Walker of Wesson; brothers, Eddie Gene Walker Jr. and Thomas Clinton Walker both of Wesson and Robert Daniel Walker of Madisonville, Tennessee; and 17 grandchildren.
