Funeral services for Corey J. Carwyle are Friday, June 5, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Josh Scott, Rev. Tony Mullins and Rev. Matthew Green will be officiating the services. Pallbearers are Wade Smith, Larry Dean Case, Chase Carwyle, John Thornhill Jr., Bartley Thornhill and David McFarland.  Honorary pallbearers are employees of Carwyle Dozer Inc.

Visitation is Thursday, June 4, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m. and will continue Friday, June 5, 2015, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Carwyle, 32, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. He was born July 1, 1982 in McComb to Mr. Ronnie Carwyle and Mrs. Pam Jordan Carwyle.

Mr. Carwyle was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator with Carwyle Dozer Inc.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Eugene (Bootie) Jordan.

Survivors are his parents; former wife, Lonna Carwyle; sons, Colby and Garrett of Brookhaven; brother, Chris Carwyle and wife, Ouida, of Wesson; niece, Shelby Carwyle; nephew, Cameron Carwyle; grandparents, Georgia Jordan of Bogue Chitto, Estes Carwyle and wife, Margie, of McCall Creek; along with a host of family and friends.

A very special thank you goes out to the staff at University Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospital of Jackson for the many hours of dedicated and faithful service and the many friends that offered prayers during this time.
