Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Knight, of Wesson, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jamie Catherine Knight, of Wesson, to Brett Stanton McKay, of Brandon.

He is the son of Barney and Gail McKay, of Brandon.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pauline Wand and the late Floyd O. Wand, of Brookhaven, and Mr. and Mrs. John Knight and the late Grace Knight, of Deer Park, Louisiana.

He is the grandson of the late William Stanton, the late Elizabeth Branch Stanton and Mr. and Mrs. Henry McKay, of Madison.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Wesson Attendance Center and a graduate of Delta State University, where she received a degree in elementary education. She is currently employed with Copiah County School District as a kindergarten teacher at Crystal Springs Elementary.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Brandon High School and attended Mississippi State University. He is currently employed with Rankin Rental in Florence.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2015, at McClain Lodge with the reception to follow.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
