Bert Sasser and Malissa Moak Sasser of Bogue Chitto will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at 2 p.m. on Aug. 23 at Bethel Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto.

Hosting the reception will be their children, Jonathan and Shanna Sasser, of Bogue Chitto, and Benjamin and Chelsea Sasser of Richland.

The couple was married on Aug. 28, 1965. The couple requests no gifts.
