Funeral services for Carol Ann Pepper Bacot are Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Jones Chapel with burial in Bacot Family Cemetery. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Joshua Plaisance, Jeremy Ferguson, Jeff Coon, Chad Nettles, Paul and Sambo Pepper, Mike Brown and Kenny Bacot.

Visitation is Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the time services at the chapel.

Mrs. Bacot, 68, died on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. She was born Jan. 25, 1947 in Brookhaven to Powell Pepper and Helen Boorman Cagle Pepper.

She worked in retail sales for several years. She was also a licensed cosmetologist for over 44 years. Mrs. Bacot loved gardening, planting flowers and going dancing. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers Melvin and Danny Pepper.

Survivors are her husband of 48 years, Mr. Robert Lee “Bobby” Bacot of Summit; two sons, Michael Bradley Boyd of McComb and Jerry Lee Bacot of Chandler, Texas; five daughters, Cindy Dianne Hart of Chandler, Teresa Lynn Graham of Chandler, Rhonda Karen Whitehead and her husband, David, of Hammond, Louisiana, Leigh Ann Bacot Gatlin of Summit, Laurie Jean Weber and her husband, Tom, of Summit; one sister, Debbie Jean Pepper Brown and her husband, Mike, of Raceland, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren, Taylor Paige Gatlin, Luke Thomas Weber, Ryan James Weber, Steven Adams, Micah Whitehead, Nichole Graham, Robert Bacot, Julie Bacot, Kenny Bacot, Doug Hart, Shannon Orbison, Lindsey Hart, Aaron Wright, Mindy Graham; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
