Local Weather Statistics 

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 94 degrees for Tuesday and a low of 68. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday was 68 degrees. There was no precipitation.

 

River Stages

On Tuesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 12.2, down 0.7 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 20.1, down 0.8 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 3.5, up 1 foot in the past 24 hours.

Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 20 calls Tuesday; four were transfers, with all four to Jackson. There were sixteen emergency calls, with eight medical, five in the city and three in the county. There was eight traumas with four in the city and four in the county.
