Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Tuesday was as follows:

 

• Mary Allen, 06-18-61, of 230 Molly St. — arrested for indictment by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

• Cordarryl L. Bell, 04-26-91, of 510 East Congress St. — arrested for disorderly conduct/breach of peace, public profanity, and resisting arrest by the Brookhaven Police Department.

• Linda D. Calcote, 10-21-91, of 1009 Highway 44, Jayess — arrested for shoplifting by the BPD.

• Laura D. Davis, 01-06-85, of 1298 Pricedale Drive, Bogue Chitto — arrested for willful trespassing by the BPD.

• Lashay N. Smith, 04-24-78, of 393 Powells Grove Road, Jayess — arrested for shoplifting by the BPD.

• Dan Turnage, 08-14-66, of 208 Roy Schmidt Road, Sontag — arrested for failure to appear in court by the LCSO.

River Stages

On Wednesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 11.9, down 0.3 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 19.4, down 0.6 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 3.3, down 0.0 feet in the past 24 hours.

 

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department reported to a false alarm at the Holiday Inn Express. Firefighters responded to the alarm at approximately 5:45 p.m. and returned at around 5:49 p.m.

 

Copiah County Reports 

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported to a two-car accident at the Intersection of Pine Street and Lester Furr. Volunteer firefighters responded at approximately 11:55 a.m. and returned at around 12:15 p.m. No injuries were reported. The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department also reported a medical call on Sylvarena Road where firefighters responded at approximately 6:27 p.m. and returned at around 6:49 p.m.

 

King’s Daughters
Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 12 calls Wednesday; three were transfers, with all three to Jackson. There were nine emergency calls, with five medical, two in the city and three in the county. There was three traumas two in the city and one in the county. There was one motor vehicle accident in the county.
