Thursday afternoon rain canceled high school slowpitch softball action around the area – Stringer at Bogue Chitto, Amite County at West Lincoln and Lawrence County at Wesson.

Bogue Chitto coach Scott Leggett announced that they have rescheduled their game for Monday against Stringer. Junior varsity action begins at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:15 p.m.

West Lincoln, Wesson and Lawrence County games are currently discussing make-up dates with opposing coaches.
