Brookhaven finishes strong in Natchez run

NATCHEZ – The Brookhaven Panthers and Lady Panthers finished strong in their cross-country meet at Natchez High Thursday.

In the varsity boys 5K run, Caleb McCreary led the Panthers with a fourth place finished. Adrian Lockwood placed fifth, Antonio Dillon came in seventh, Kariunte Edward was 20th, Jonas Raguse 25th, Andrew Knott 27th, Jacob Britt 29th and Tajah Black at 30th.

In the varsity girls 5K run, the Lady Panthers were lead by Gracie Gray with a second place finish overall. Miyah Miller took home third place. Tiara Johnson finished fifth, Abby Roberts was eighth, Jordan Fries placed nineth, Cristina Craig was 11th, Carly Craig 16th and Leona Smith at 19th.

In junior varsity action, the Lady Panthers’ Mary Rhea Waterloo took home first place. Destiny Jefferson was second. Bailey Pounds placed sixth, Zoey Hinton was seventh, Audrey Williamson was eighth and Jackie Madison Madison finished 13th.

In the boys run, the Panthers was lead by Noah Spear with a first place finish. Tyler Montgomery placed fifth. Ethan Autrey was sixth, Tre Laird came in eighth, James Gardner was 11th. Jake Roberson placed 12th, John Michael Chance claim 13th and Samuel Mabile was 17th.
