Funeral services for Aline Louise “Nettie Grace” Posey will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Riverwood and will resume on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at 12 p.m.

Mrs. Posey, 87, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at her residence. She was born Feb. 12, 1928, to Ed Thompson and Lovie Ritchie Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmette Posey; son, James Posey; daughter, Betty Rose; parents; brothers, Dutch Thompson, Eustus Thompson, Jule Thompson and Eddie Thompson; sisters, Marie Brister and Ruby Lee Bresius; and grandson, Brian Posey.

Survivors are her son, Emmett Gene Posey (Erma); daughters, Brenda Cavin (Jerry), Becky Posey and Judy Rushing; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
