Mr. and Mrs. J. Terry Pendley, of Brookhaven, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Reeves, of Maysville, Kentucky, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Julia Vanstory Pendley, of Brookhaven, to Thomas Reilly Miller, of Brookhaven.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Glenn Miller.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Doyle Pendley, of Starkville, Mr. and Mrs. Mark F. Foster, of South Boston, Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Mickey W. Reeves, of Bogue Chitto, and Mr. and Mrs. M. Dean Lail, of Brandon.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy C. Miller, of Soso, and Mr. and Mrs. Roland E. Wingo, of Laurel. He is the great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward N. Lacey, of Wesson.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a Bachelor of Art in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in business. She was also a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. She is currently employed as the lifestyles editor at The Daily Leader.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a 2010 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is currently employed with Mike Whatley Honda as a sales and leasing consultant.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. A reception will follow at Trinity Park.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
