Memorial services for Charles Kenneth “Kenny” Herrington Sr. are Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Visitation is Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, from 12 p.m. until time of services.

Mr. Herrington, 65, of Basile Louisiana, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born on Jan. 8, 1950, to Charles Earl Herrington and Nonnie Cecil Herrington.

He was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Eunice, Louisiana.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Edna Earl Miller and Marylin Hamn; and grandson, Charles Kenneth Herrington III.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Brister Herrington; son, Charles Kenneth Herrington Jr.; daughter, Stacey Carol Nepveaux; and three grandchildren, Conner Nelson Nepveaux, Carolyn Alyse Herrington and Channdler Herrington; nephews Russell Miller and Guy Miller of Hattiesburg; and niece, Cindy Hamn of Nashville.
