For the second time in less than a week, West Lincoln’s junior high basketball teams were victorious over Natchez Cathedral. Monday’s games took place at Jack Case Gymnasium.

In a close contest throughout, the Lady Bears hung on for a 20-17 win over Cathedral. Julianna Crosby led West Lincoln with eight points, while Bailey Wilson added six points. Anna Kat McDonough led the Lady Green Wave with five points.

After a slow start, the Bears roared to a 51-21 win over Cathedral. Karlton Byrd paced West Lincoln with 14 points, while Michael Brothern added 12 points. Anthony Hughes also netted three treys for a nine-point effort for the Bears. Chase Kaiser and Bryson Moore provided the Green Wave with four points each.

West Lincoln’s junior high teams will travel to Loyd Star today for four games starting at 4 p.m.
