Morgan Wallis, 17, was crowned Miss Merry Christmas Monday evening at the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce. Miss Merry Christmas participates in various activities such as the Christmas parade Dec. 3 and Christmas open houses. Miss Merry Christmas is judged on personality, poise and appearance, modeling Sunday attire and an interview. Wallis, of Bogue Chitto, is the daughter of David and Brittany Teaster and the late Shane Wallis.
