Funeral services for Stanley Ray Greer will be 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at Riverwood.

Mr. Greer, 70, of Bogue Chitto, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at his residence. He was born Sept. 3, 1945, to Cyril N. Greer and Hazel Gatlin Greer.

He worked in the oilfield industry as a fishing tool consultant, and he was a member of Wellman Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Willie Nell Robbins, Barbara Ann Russell and Linda Pittman.

Survivors are his wife, Diane W. Greer; sons, Stanley Ray Greer Jr. and wife, Alana and Cyril “Nicky” Greer and wife, Michelle, all of Bogue Chitto; sister, Jackie Smith and husband, Larry; five grandchildren, Ashley Greer Nations and husband, Josh, Garrett Greer, Brandon Greer, Matthew Greer and Courtney Greer; and two great-grandchildren, Baylee and Bentlee Nations.
