Funeral Services for Ivy Pearl Nettles will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. until service time.

Ivy Pearl Watts Nettles, 97, died Nov. 21, 2015 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 19, 1918 to Charlie Walter Watts and Annie Dora Smith Watts.

Mrs. Nettles retired from Stahl-Urban and was also a lifetime member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Claude Nettles; her parents, Charlie and Annie Watts; four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors are her sons, Mike Nettles and wife, Mary, Tommy Nettles and wife, Marilyn, and Gregory Nettles and wife, Karen all of Brookhaven; five grandchildren, Bruce Pepper and wife, Sharon, of Moss Point, Michael Nettles and wife, Denise, Mandy Bayless and husband, Jamie, both of Brookhaven, Morgan Tullis and husband, J. J., of Madison, Greg Nettles and David Nettles, both of Brookhaven; ten great-grandchildren, Haley Southern, Colby Pepper, Peyton Pepper, all of Moss Point, Katie Dyess, Landon Nettles, Trent Nettles, all of Brookhaven, Sydney Tullis, Olivia Tullis, both of Madison, and Eli Bayless and Beth Bayless, both of Brookhaven; five great-great-grandchildren, Landyn Cole, Riggin Pepper, Brieson Southern, Gage Dyess and Ty Dyess.

The family would like to thank all of Silver Cross Nursing Home, King’s Daughters Medical Center and Hospice Ministries for all the support and care you showed to Mrs. Ivy.

The family would also like to thank Bro. Chad Yarborough for the care and compassion of ministering to our family.
