She was an active member of the Women’s Missionary Union and served on the Lincoln Baptist Associational WMU council. She also was a member of the church flower committee and found great joy in sharing flowers from her own yard to make bouquets for the church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, playing ROOK and sewing beautiful dresses for her four daughters. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved very much. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
