Kyle and Terri Hux, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karla Beth Hux, of Brookhaven, to Cody Andrew White. She is also the daughter of the late Kim Hux.

He is the son of Jimmy and Charlotte White, of Wesson.

She is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Dot Smith, of Bogue Chitto, and Merle Hux and the late C.M. Hux of McComb.

He is the grandson of Linda Coon and the late Charlie Coon, of Brookhaven, and the late A.C. and Cora Mae White, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center, Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Mississippi College. She is currently employed with Clinton High School as a teacher and head fast-pitch softball coach.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He currently attends Alcorn State University He is employed with Paul Jackson & Son.

The couple will exchange vows, Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the church.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception. No local invitations will be sent.
