Funeral services for Mike A. Butler will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, in Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel.  There will be a 2 p.m. graveside service Friday at Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven. Ott & Lee Funeral home in Brandon is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home.

Mr. Butler, 57, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was born Oct. 26, 1958, in Brookhaven.

He graduated from Brookhaven High School. He also graduated pharmacy school at the University of Louisiana in Monroe.  He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church.

Mike was a pharmacist at Super D Drug Store in Highland Village for 25 years and was currently at Fred’s Pharmacy in Pelahatchie. He enjoyed traveling, white water rafting and good food. He was an Eagle Scout and avid Ole Miss fan.

He was a loving husband, father, brother and papaw.

He was preceded in death by parents, M.A. Butler and Ida F. Martin; and brother-in-law, Lance Foster.

Survivors include “love of his life,” Jenny; sons, Jason and wife, Erica and Allen and wife, Tarah; grandson, Rowan; sister, Debbie Alexander and husband, Tim; in-laws, Leonard and Deleathea Foster; brother-in-law, Mitchell Foster and wife, Tammy; and many nieces and nephews.
