Jeremy Rawls and Jawana Slaven, of Bogue Chitto, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Dusti Shea Rawls, of Bogue Chitto, to Dylan Burke Smith, of Wesson.
He is the son of Johnny Smith, of Brookhaven, and Leslie Smith, of Wesson.
He is the grandson of J.C. and Peggy Smith, of Brookhaven, and Gerald Burke and the late Etta Burke, of Wesson.
She is the granddaughter of David and Loretta Brister, of Bogue Chitto, and Gale and Geraldine Rawls, of Bogue Chitto.
The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center. She currently attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she is pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing.
The prospective groom is a 2013 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center. He attended Southwest Community College and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is a 2015 graduate of the U.S. Army Ordnance School in Fort Lee, Virginia. He is currently employed with Predictive Maintenance Consultants of Brookhaven and the Mississippi Army National Guard.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Shady Grove Baptist Church. A reception will follow.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
