Funeral services for Alice May Stroud of Meadville are Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at 1 p.m. with burial in Midway Cemetery. Rev. Milton Whatley and Rev. Mike Childs will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, from

5 until 8 p.m. and will continue Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at 12 p.m. until time of service at Meadville United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Stroud loved fishing, gardening, quilting, sewing and all sorts of crafts. She loved showing others just how Bridge was played.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Julius McAllister and Mrs. Idell Kirkland McAllister; husband, Roy Stroud; sister, Margie Jones; and granddaughter, Eugenie Stroud.

Survivors are her daughter; Marilyn Nettles and husband, Tommy, of Brookhaven; sons, Tommy Stroud and wife, Cookie, of Washington, Ken Stroud and wife, Jackie, of Meadville; grandchildren, Mandy Bayless (Jamie), Morgan Tullis (J.J.), Stephanie Ranstrom (Matt), Amy Jansen (Andrew), Rebecca Stroud and Ben Stroud; great-grandchildren, Beth Bayless, Eli Bayless, Sidney and Olivia Tullis, Kari Ranstrom, and Abby Jansen; sister, Wilma Carlock along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jamie Bayless, Eli Bayless, J.J. Tullis, Ben Stroud, Percy Peeler and Clay Carlock.

A very special thank you goes out to all her longtime, faithful neighbor friends on Pineview Drive. Your friendship, love and support over the years will never be forgotten.
