Funeral services for Alean Stringer of Silver Creek are Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Pearl River MB Church in Monticello with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, from 1 until 4:30 p.m. at Williams Mortuary with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m. at the church.

Ms. Stringer, 60, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at her residence. She was born May 31, 1955, in Lawrence County to Effie Stringer and Bessie Mae Sutton.
