Funeral services for Rev. J. L. Touchstone are Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Bude Church of God at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in the Bude Church of God Cemetery.  Rev. Arnold Amason, Dr. Daniel Smith, Rev. Timothy Touchstone, Rev. Allan Touchstone and Sister LaJoy Touchstone will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bude of Church of God.

Rev. Touchstone, 86, died Feb. 19, 2016, at his residence in Eddiceton. He was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Franklin County to Jessie and Dolly Lee Touchstone. He was a member of Bude Church of God in Bude. He was a retired minister that served the Lord for 47 years. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend and minister.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jessie and Dolly Lee Touchstone; and brothers, Jim, Jack, Joe, Charles, David and John Touchstone.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Betty Coleman Touchstone; brother, Rayford Touchstone and wife, LaJoy, of McCall Creek; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
