Funeral services for Branson Cole Buchanan, of Stringer, are Friday, March 11, 2016, at 2 p.m. at New Life Fellowship Church with burial at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer. Bro. David Williams will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday, March 10, 2016, from 5 until 9 p.m. at New Life Fellowship Church.
Mr. Buchanan, 15, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. He was born Thursday, April 6, 2000, in Laurel.
Pallbearers will be Darby Moyer, Allen “Turbo” Williams, Wesley Parker, Austin Roberts, Jacob Waldrop and Mike Waldrop. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cole Clark, Chris Johnson, Noah Kelly, Daniel Patterson, Henry Reed and Jacob Williams.
Cole was an amazing kid. He lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by many and loved by all.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Harold Williams and Toby Buchanan.
Survivors are his mother, Angelia Roberts (Johnny) of Stringer; father, Bubba Buchanan (Deirdre) of Monticello; grandmothers, Elizabeth Diane Wiliams of Stringer and Betty Buchanan of Heidelberg; sisters, Kayla Dunning (Matt) of Laurel and Marissa Rushton of Laurel; special uncles, Don Williams (Stephani) of Stringer and Doug Buchanan (Donna) of Heidelberg; aunts, Reba Parker (Wayne) of Heidelberg and Nancy Manning (Jack) of Heidelberg; cousins, Josie Patterson, Haylee Williams and Brody Patterson of Stringer and Ali Williams of Laurel; step-brothers, Jacob Waldrop and Michael Waldrop of Monticello and Austin Roberts of Louin; step-sister, Ashton Roberts of Louin; step-grandparents, Harmon Roberts and Barbara Roberts of Louin, Annie Glenn of Brookhaven and Annie Townsend of Brookhaven; and a host of cousins, friends and loved ones.
