Jerry Wayne Barton, 79, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Conroe, Texas.  He was born July 28, 1936, in Gilbert, Louisiana. 

Preceding him in death were his parents, Wayne and Lottie Barton; sister, Gail Barton; and brothers, Bill Barton and J. C. Barton.

Survivors are his children, Geri Procell, Lynn Dauzat and Rachel Barton; sister, Sue Gunnell; brother, Sam Barton; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
