Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Jackson, of Wesson, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jessica Ann Jackson, of Wesson, to Cpl. Caleb Thaddeus Broome, of Wesson.

He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Phillip Broome of Wesson.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mary Hartzog, of Oma, Dixie Kennedy and the late Bobby Kennedy, of Oma, and Doris Jackson and the late Joe Dee Jackson, of Hazlehurst.

He is the grandson of Ethel Batson and the late J.D. Batson, of Wiggins, and the late Toxie Broome, of Sumrall.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Wesson Attendance Center and Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she received a degree in nursing.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Wesson Attendance Center. He has served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and will enroll in Belhaven University where he will pursue a degree in sports administration.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. A reception will follow at The Celebration Hall.
