Funeral services for Bertha Louise Grice King are 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at East Lincoln Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, May 9, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. King, 72, of Brookhaven died on Saturday, May 7, at her residence. She was born Sept. 17, 1943, to William “Shellie” Grice and Ruby C. Rushing Grice.

She was a 4-H leader for many years, a member of the East Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department, 1st responder and founder No. 220. She was also a member of East Lincoln Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Jimmy Grice and William Ray Grice; and sister, Linda Cohen.

Survivors are her husband, Robert Lee King; son, Will Cohen and wife, Kristie; daughter, Benita Lynn King Woods and husband, Bryant, and Robin Leigh King of Brookhaven; brothers, Ralph Grice and wife, Lynda, Donald Grice and wife, Brenda, and Robert Grice; sister, Opal Ezell, Doris Thompson and husband, Curley, all of Brookhaven; 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
