A private service for Louie Lamar Entrican Jr. of Brookhaven are pending. Pallbearers are Barry Entrican, Donn B. Nations, Meade Mathis, Tommy Lofton, Richard G. Case, Roffie Burt, Coney Lea, Herman L. Henderson, Gorden Redd, Clifford Britt, Talley Rogers and Sherman Swalm. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Entrican, 77, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at St. Dominic Hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1939, in Brookhaven.

He was a 1957 graduate of Brookhaven High School where he was Key Club president, head football team manager, selected most handsome, a Chevalier DeMolay and received the Danforth award. He attended Tulane University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and attended Millsaps College.

He spent his career as a right of way agent in the natural gas industry. He was a charter member of the Edgewater Rotary Club in Biloxi.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Louie Lamar and Mildred Day Entrican; sisters, Judith Ann Kirkpatrick and Jennifer Elizabeth Watson; and a brother Capt. Dan Entrican, U.S. Army.

Survivors are his son, Barry Andrew; granddaughter, Kylynn Rose Entrican; and several nephews, a niece, and their families.

Memorials can be made to Macedonia Baptist Church.
