Southwest host basketball camp June 20

SUMMIT – Southwest men’s basketball head coach Thomas Gray has announced June 20-22 as the dates for his First Annual Elite Basketball Camps. The camps will be directed by the Bears’ coaching staff and current team members.

The first camp, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., is for boys entering grades fourth through eighth. It is designed to encourage kids to have fun playing the game of basketball and gain knowledge on how to improve their basketball abilities.

The second camp, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., is for boys entering grades ninth through-12. It is designed for student-athletes that want to take their game to the next level and that aspire to play college basketball.

Both camps will cost $60 per person. The cost will cover a camp t-shirt, camp insurance and a designed workout pamphlet. High school campers will also receive a strength training pamphlet.
