Funeral services for Mary Maxwell Brown of Brookhaven are Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation is Friday, June 3, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mrs. Brown, 86, of Brookhaven, died Thursday, June 2, 2016. She was born March 21, 1930, in Brookhaven.

Before retiring, she was employed with Bell South/AT & T as a repair clerk.  She was a member of Fair River Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Clinton G. Brown; parents, Hiram C. Maxwell and Myrtis Rollins Maxwell; brothers, Delmar K. McClendon, William McClendon and Jack McClendon; sister, Effie Jean Maxwell Grenn and niece, Karen Grenn.

Survivors are her sister, Lorraine Maxwell Farr; nephews, Ed McClendon, Brian McClendon, Russell D. Farr, Murray L. Farr (Paula); special nieces, Gloria L. Grenn, Janice Grenn Kaplan (Eric), Mary Beth Farr Campbell (Mike); and special cousins, Gary Williams (Julia) and Steven Williams (Pam).
