Carolyn Simoneaux, 72, of Greensboro, North Carolina, formerly of Brookhaven, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born July 22, 1943, in Mobile, Alabama to Virgil and Mildred Nevels Stewart.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Sidney Stewart.

Survivors are her husband, Bruce Joseph Simoneaux; daughter, Nicole (Rex) McCaskill; son, David (Heather) Simoneaux; grandchildren, Sydney Wyrick, Anna Grace Wyrick and Phineas Simoneaux; sister, Brenda (Danny) Pittman; and brother, Virgil (Vickie) Stewart.
