Funeral services for Dorothy Lofton Terry are Monday, June 27, 2016, at 10:30 a.m.,  at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, June 27, 2016, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mrs. Dorothy Lofton Terry, 96, of Brookhaven, died June 23, 2016, at Golden Living Center. She was born Nov. 11, 1919, to Walter Johnston and Delma Byrd Johnston.

She was a homemaker and a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her late husband of 57 years, Clyde Lofton; her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Dixie Johnston; sister and brother-in- law, Martha and Jimmy Hammack; grandson, Kevin Lofton; great-grandson, Kristopher Lofton; and son-in- law, Frank Stephens.

Survivors are her husband, C.M. Terry; son, Monroe Lofton and wife Lynda of Sumrall; daughter, Hilda Stephens of Star; step-daughters, Sandra Gerald and husband Charles and Judy Terry; four grandchildren, Greg Stephens, Christie Holland and husband Wes, Keith Lofton and wife Cathy, Ken Lofton and wife Peggy; five great-grandchildren, Wendi McLendon and husband Mitch, Jacob Lofton, Laura Stephens, Frank Thomas Stephens, Emma Grace Holland; great-great grandchild, Brycen McLendon; and several step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
