Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to smoke at 5:15 p.m. Saturday on West Cherokee Street. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a false alarm at 12:41 p.m. Saturday on Cornerstone Lane.

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Saturday through Monday.

The Monticello Fire Department reported no activity Saturday through Monday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reports were not available Saturday through Monday.

 

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Saturday through Monday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Saturday through Monday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported no activity Saturday through Monday.

 

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 2:26 a.m. Saturday on I-55 northbound mile marker 36. Injuries were reported. They also responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 1:08 p.m. Sunday on I-55 south of mile marker 27. Injuries were reported. They responded to a single vehicle accident at 9:16 p.m. Monday on I-55 southbound north of exit 40 without injuries.

 

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 38 calls Saturday through Monday. Eleven were transfers, with six to Jackson, four to Pike County and one to the city. There were 26 emergency calls; 17 medical, with 12 in the city and five in the county; two traumas, with one in the city and one in the county; and seven MVAs, with one in the city and six in the county.
