Funeral services for Betty Louise Morgan are Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst with burial in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Bro. Larry Hart and Bro. James Harris will officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 13, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. and continues Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of services at Westside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morgan, 77, died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. She was born Sept. 16, 1938, in Hazlehurst to Willie and Lillian Morrow McLendon.

She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She enjoyed garage sales, collecting chickens and little angels. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Pallbearers are Houston Morgan, Dee Smith, Scotty Thaxton, Justin Morgan, Clayton Munn and Lynn Waldon. Honorary pallbearers are Francis Peterson, Sonny Lewis, Keith Morgan, Trey Smith, Cody Munn and Shane Munn.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie and Lillian Morrow McLendon; and daughter, Kathy Diane Munn.

Survivors are her sons, Ronnie H. Morgan and wife, Sharon, of Hazlehurst, and Danny Ray Morgan and wife, Ellen Theresa, of Wesson; son-in-law, Jimmie Lee Munn of Wesson; brother, Willie Ray McLendon and wife, Hazle, of Wesson; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of Hardy Wilson Hospital and to Mr. Francis Peterson for taking care of Mrs. Morgan for the past several years.
