The Moak’s Creek Bridge on Moak’s Creek Road will be closed for the next six to eight weeks, according to county engineer Ryan Holmes.

The bridge, near Moak’s Creek Baptist Church, will be closed for replacement. A 42-foot-long culvert will replace it, he said.

Motorists should avoid the area. Detour signs have been posted, Holmes said.
