Funeral services for Irene Franklin Smith were at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Joey Faulk officiated.
Mrs. Smith, 87, died Friday, July 22, 2016, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. She was born May 17, 1929, in Brookhaven.
