Funeral services for J.T. Nations, of Ruth, are Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Topisaw Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Nations, 87, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Country Brook Living Center. He was born Aug. 28, 1929, to Julius Teddy Nations and Ruvie Lee Kyzar Nations. He was a retired boilermaker and a member of Topisaw Baptist Church. He was also a master mason.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Greg Nations; two sisters, Bonnie Davis and Norma Atwood.

Survivors are his children, Jay Tracy Nations, Phyllis Gordon, Deborah Langley and Cindy Nations; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, L.P. Nations.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Topisaw Baptist Church Building Fund.
