Tell us your favorites for a chance to win $250

Tell us who’s the best in Brookhaven and Lincoln County and you could win $250 for your opinion.

Fill out a ballot — printed on page 5B — and drop it off at The Daily Leader office at 128 North Railroad Avenue or mail it to The Daily Leader at P.O. Box 551, Brookhaven, MS 39602.

Deadline to enter is 5 p.m. Oct. 7.

The Daily Leader wants to know your favorite people and where they work. We want to know the nicest nurses, the top notch teachers and the best bankers. A full list is on the ballot.

Where’s the best places to eat? Who’s got the most delicious barbecue or the perfect pizza? There’s a place to tell us that, too, as well as the best businesses to frequent.

“It’s a great way to recognize our wonderful businesses, plus everyone who fills out a ballot is eligible for a $250 cash prize,” said Daily Leader advertising manager Kristi Carney.

The top two in each category will receive a certificate to hang up to share the news, plus they’ll be featured in a special publication to be included in The Daily Leader.

And finally, we’re looking for the Best Business of the Year. Who is the absolute best of the best?

Ballots are limited to one per person. Make sure to include a name and address and complete at least 50 percent of the ballot for it to count.

Businesses and individuals nominated must work and operate within Lincoln County to be counted.

Ballots can be found in Sunday, Wednesday and Friday editions of the newspaper. Only ballots printed by The Daily Leader will be accepted. Free ballots are available at the newspaper office.
