The Strong Hope Volunteer Fire Department near Wesson responded to an abandoned car on fire on Timber Range Road at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. no injuries were reported.

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 13 calls Tuesday. Six were transfers, with one in the city, two in the county, two to Jackson and one to Natchez. There were seven emergency calls; seven medical, with four in the city and three in the county.
