Funeral services for Paula Harper Jordan, of Brookhaven, are Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery. Rev. Mike Evans, of Monticello, and Rev. Pam Randle, of Brookhaven, will officiate.

Visitation will be  Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jordan, 72, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at Countrybrook Living Center in Brookhaven.  She was born in Biloxi July 3, 1944, to Rev. Paul and Harriet (Bilbo) Harper.

She worked at Kellwood and Stahl Urban for numerous years, and later was a private sitter to several families in Lincoln County.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  She loved her flowers and she loved to sing.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Homer N. Jordan; her granddaughter, Tiffany Elizabeth Hood; and a son-in-law, Nolan Johnson.

Survivors are her daughters, Angela Jordan and Carla Jordan Johnson, both of Brookhaven; her brothers, John Harper and wife Faye, of Lucedale, and James Harper, of Brookhaven; brother-in-law, Jerry Jordan and wife Frances of Brookhaven; sister-in-law, Jewell Jordan, of Brookhaven; and a special granddaughter, Selena Cheyenne Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Chris Boyd, Darryl Jordan, Jason Posey, Jackie Rippy, James Simpson and Jakob Thames, all of Brookhaven.
