Funeral services for Lamar Melton Case Jr., of Brookhaven, will be today, Sept. 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.  Burial will follow in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Case, 73, died at home Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016.  He was born Nov. 7, 1942, to Lamar M. Case Sr. and Natalie Newell Case.  He was the owner/operator of Lamar Case Garage in Loyd Star and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Carey Case; and his great-granddaughter, Bella Glen Montgomery.

Survivors include his wife Rita Ann Case; his sons, David Case and wife Sandra, and Chris Case and wife Brenda; his daughters, Donna Case and husband Dusty, and Nancy Williamson and husband Ricky; his brother Dennis Case and wife Pam; his sisters, Aillene Tompkins, Bettye Lewis, Shirley Freeman, Jeanette Thomae and husband David, Mary Sue James and husband Roland; 10 grandchildren, Casey Jackson and wife Ina, Dustin Case and wife Jill, Cherish Montgomery and husband Timmy, Lindsey Case and wife Leah, Jeffery Case and wife Alex, Shelly Halley and husband Chris, Toney Williamson and wife Cheyenne, Andy Williamson, Carlie Case and Dylan Case; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;  brother-in-law, Larry Barksdale and wife Ann; and his sister-in-law, Laura Barksdale.
